Payroll Administrator / Payroll Specialist Responsibilities
Must have: Ceridian Day Force Portal Experience

Payroll Processing:
  •  Prepare, process, and verify bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for employees. 
  •  Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions. 
  •  Review and validate timesheets, attendance records, and employee work hours. 
  •  Process payroll adjustments, retroactive payments, and off-cycle payrolls when required. 

Ceridian Dayforce (Ceridian Portal) Administration:
  •  Utilize Ceridian Dayforce to manage payroll data and employee records. 
  •  Enter and maintain employee information, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary changes. 
  •  Generate payroll reports, audit reports, and year-end tax reports through the Dayforce portal. 
  •  Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve system-related issues within Ceridian. 
  •  Support employees and managers with Dayforce self-service functions, including pay statements, tax forms, benefits, and personal information updates. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information. 

Benefits and Deductions Management:
  •  Administer employee benefits enrollment and deductions. 
  •  Coordinate with HR regarding benefit changes, leaves of absence, and employee status updates. 
  •  Reconcile benefit and pension contributions. 

Reporting and Reconciliation:
  •  Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies. 
  •  Prepare payroll summaries and management reports. 
  •  Assist with internal and external payroll audits. 
  •  Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation. 

Employee Support:
  •  Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, deductions, and benefits. 
  •  Provide guidance on accessing payroll information through the Ceridian Dayforce portal. 
  •  Resolve payroll issues in a timely and professional manner.
